When you create an account we collect your first name, last name, and email address. When you make a purchase we collect your payment details which are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your full card number. We also collect your pass purchase history, redemption history, referral activity, and any contact details you provide when gifting a BONUS PASS.
We use your information to create and manage your BuySmart account, process your PASS purchases, generate and track your PASSes and BONUS PASSes, calculate and display your referral earnings, and provide customer support when you contact us.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not use your information for advertising or marketing by third parties. We do not share your email with partner stores. BuySmart products are ad-free. We never display ads or allow advertisers to influence your experience.
When you redeem a PASS or BONUS PASS at a store, the store sees only your Pass Code and the redemption amount. They do not receive your name, email, or any other personal information.
All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. BuySmart never has access to your full card number. Stripe stores your payment details securely according to industry standards.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you. You have the right to correct any inaccurate information. You have the right to request deletion of your account and data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@buysmart.com.
BuySmart uses minimal cookies to keep you logged in during your session. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

BuySmart is a local loyalty pass platform connecting customers with stores. BuySmart is operated by BuySmart LLC, Columbus, Ohio.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. One account per person. You must be 18 or older.
Each PASS is valid for one use only at your selected store. PASSes are non-refundable once purchased. Valid for 90 days from purchase. PASSes are personal and cannot be transferred or sold. Each PASS automatically generates one BONUS PASS at no extra charge.
BONUS PASSes must be assigned to a store before use. Once a store is chosen it cannot be changed. A small unlock fee is payable directly at the store. This fee is shown clearly before you confirm. BONUS PASSes are non-refundable once issued. Membership BONUS PASSes are valid for 30 days. Standard BONUS PASSes are valid for 90 days.
Membership costs $100 per month and provides 4 BONUS PASSes valid for 30 days. Renewal is entirely your choice each month. There is no automatic renewal. BONUS PASSes issued under membership are non-refundable once issued.
Gifted BONUS PASSes are non-refundable once created. The recipient must have a BuySmart account to activate a gifted BONUS PASS. BuySmart is not responsible for gifts sent to incorrect contact details.
By sharing your referral code you agree that BuySmart may track purchases made by people you refer and credit earnings to your account. Referral earnings are non-transferable and can only be redeemed for BONUS PASSes — they cannot be withdrawn as cash. BuySmart reserves the right to void referral earnings if fraudulent activity is detected, including self-referral or creation of multiple accounts. One referral earns you forever — on every purchase that person ever makes on BuySmart.
All stores in the BuySmart app are independent businesses. BuySmart is not responsible for the quality of goods or services at any store. Disputes about a store experience should be raised with that store directly. BuySmart may remove a store from the platform at any time if it does not meet our standards.
By using BuySmart you agree to collection of the following: your name, email address, purchase history, pass redemption history, referral activity, and any contact details provided when gifting a BONUS PASS. For stores, BuySmart collects and stores store name, contact details, store type, discount rates, redemption counts, and transaction volumes. This data is used to operate the platform, calculate partner earnings, generate analytics, and improve our service. BuySmart does not sell this data to any third party.
BuySmart uses aggregated transaction data — including store redemption volumes, pass purchase frequency, and city-level usage patterns — for internal analytics, investor reporting, and platform improvement. This data is always aggregated and never identifies individual customers to third parties.
When using a PASS or BONUS PASS at an online store, you agree to provide an order reference number to the store for verification. BuySmart is not responsible for online orders placed at partner stores. Any dispute about an online order must be resolved directly with the store.
You may not resell PASSes or BONUS PASSes. You may not create multiple accounts to abuse referral programmes. You may not use BuySmart for any fraudulent purpose. Violations may result in account termination without refund.
